The Innovation Library NENC is a website portal for NHS and industry to share ideas as well as emerging and adopted health innovations, enabling spread and adoption across the healthcare system in the North East and North Cumbria.

The innovative projects featured on the Innovation Library NENC have all led to improvements in patient safety, quality, outcomes and efficiency in the healthcare sector, working towards the collective ambition of the Health Innovation Network which is to improve healthcare and generate economic growth.

Health Innovation NENC

Health Innovation for the North East and North Cumbria is dedicated to improving healthcare, driving wealth creation and promoting research participation across the region.

HI NENC is part of a national Network of fifteen organisations that have been set up across the country by the Department of Health to identify, adopt and disseminate innovative healthcare ideas in the NHS to achieve the ultimate goals of improving health and generating economic growth.

The Network includes a range of collaborating organisations from across the region, representing the healthcare sector, business and academia. The Network is collectively committed to improving both the health and economic prosperity of the region through innovation, research and the dissemination of knowledge, as well as the adoption of new and improved products and services.
